Grading Your Credit Score
Grading Your Credit Score Grading Your Credit Score Grading Your Credit ScoreYour credit score might be the most important number in your life. It can have more power than your age, your home address, or even your income.A great credit score opens up financial opportunitiesâ"like being able to afford new house or carâ"that arent as widely available to those with not-so-great scores. Itâs a fact of modern life.Of course, if you have a particularly poor credit score, it might feel less like a fact and more like a cruel joke.Attorney and best-selling author of The Plastic Effect, Stephen Lesavich (@SLesavich) says, Like it or not, decades of research have shown that a personâs credit score can be used directly to predict risk in underwriting of both credit and insurance.âYour credit score determines a lot. So it will help to knowHow do credit scores work?Your credit scores donât just magically appear out of nowhere. Theyâre based on the information in your credit reports, which are compiled by the three major credit bureaus â"Experian, TransUnion, and Equifaxâ"and contain data on how much money youâve borrowed, whether you make your payments on-time, etc.The best way to explain credit scores is that theyâre like a letter grade on your credit report: Just like getting an A is an easy way to tell if you did well on your math test, having a credit score of 780 is a fast way for lenders to see that, yup, you have a great history of using credit responsibly. While each of the credit bureaus can produce their own version of the credit score, the most common kind of score is the FICO score. According to Lesavich, âAbout 90 percent of all lenders use FICO credit scores to determine creditworthiness.âFICO scores are based on scale of 300-850 (300 is the worst score and 850 is the best). And since a credit score is like a grade, we thought it might be nice to translate some of those score ranges into letter grades. So without further adoâ¦Grade AIf have a credit score of 720 or above, congrats! You ha ve great credit!A credit score in this range is what everyone should be striving for. These scores mean that you make your payments on time, that you donât max out your credit cardsâ"it might even mean that you donât carry any balance on your cards from month to monthâ"and it also means that your debt load is manageable compared to your income. While having a credit score of 720 might not entitle you to very best interest ratesâ"those are usually reserved for people with scores 760 or higherâ"it still means that you will be saving thousands of dollars in interest. Plus, a score in this range will likely mean additional credit card rewards and perks.Grade BIf have a credit score between 680 and 719 you have good credit. There is nothing wrong with having a score in this range. Sure, you should definitely strive to improve your credit scoreâ"higher is always betterâ"but by no means should you be freaking out about your score. Itâs still above average.A score in this range pr obably means that your credit history isnât quite as long, or that there were one or two bills you had forgotten to pay. It could mean that your credit card balances are kind of high, or that youâre still dealing with some student loans.People with scores in this range might be seen as a riskier bet, but theyâre still likely to be approved for a personal loan. And no matter what kind of loan theyâre taking out, their rates are going to be higher than people who have great credit. Not super high, mind you, but these folks are definitely paying a bit extra to borrow money.Grade C If have a credit score between 630 and 679, you have fair credit. Here is where things can start getting kind of dicey. Having a score in this range means that you probably have too much debt or more than a few late payments. You might even have a collection notice or two against you. It means you might not qualify for some unsecured personal loansâ"especially ones from a traditional lenderâ"a nd that you will have to pay a substantially higher rate for a mortgage, auto loan or credit card. While people with fair credit can still qualify for most kinds of loansâ"especially secured loansâ"this is the point at which the cost of borrowing really starts to add up. Trying to pay down your debt, taking care of your overdue accounts, and getting better about making payments on time are all good places to start if youâre looking to improve your score. If you have a score in this range, itâs probably a good idea to get a copy of your credit report to see whatâs going on. According to author and credit expert, Julie McDonough (@juliemarie0711), âOne out of three consumers have errors on their credit report that can be affecting their credit scores. Most people are more interested in knowing their credit score and are not reviewing the source of that score, their credit report.âMcDonough says that you should obtain a free copy of your credit reportâ"available per federal law at AnnualCreditReport.comâ"and that you should dispute any and all errors you find on the report.According to McDonough, items to look for in your credit report includeâ¦Variations in data between the three major bureausAccurate and timely reporting of paymentsâ"especially for accounts that have been paid in fullThe accuracy of your full name and social security numberReview the current balances and terms to make sure that they are correct.Grade DIf have a credit score between 550 and 629, you have subprime credit.Okay, here is where things start getting really dicey. Folks with credit scores in this range are going to find themselves pretty much shut out from traditional lenders like banks. They are going to have a narrow range of lenders that they can borrow from, and might even find their ability to get hired or get an apartment affected by their credit woes.If you have a score in this range, itâs likely that you have a history of late payments, have been sent to collec tions on one or more accounts, and have a debt load that is much too large for how much money you make. Whatever the reason, you should meet with a certified credit counselor to go over your finances; they can help with budgeting, establishing better money habits, and maybe even managing your debt through a debt management plan.People with a href=/payday-news/ itemprop=relatedLinksubprime credit scores are seen as a pretty risky bet to lend money to. And it makes sense why. Their credit score indicates that they havenât been great about paying back lenders in the past. But while the higher interest rates lenders charge these borrowers are understandable, the predatory lending practices that many of them use are not. Having a credit score in this range means you are going to be a target for predatory lenders offering products like dangerous payday and title loans. Make sure you donât become prey!Grade F If have a credit score below 550, you have poor credit.Take a deep bre ath. Itâs going to be okay. Having a credit score in this range is ⦠so itâs not great. In fact, itâs pretty much the opposite of great. But all credit scores are fixable. Even yours.A score in this range is most likely the result of defaulting on past loans, or declaring bankruptcy. You likely have a number of collections notices on your report, or you might have a simply massive amount of debt â" especially credit card debt. If you havenât scheduled a meeting with a certified credit counselor â" do it now. With a score under 549, you can kiss a loan from a traditional lender goodbye. Most of the loans you will qualify for will come with extremely high interest rates â" which is understandable, given what your credit score says about your borrowing habits. And you likely wonât be able to get a credit card unless itâs secured.Where you want to be careful is in avoiding predatory lenders. With short terms, lump-sum repayments, and a lending strategy focused on high-co st loan rollover, you will want to stay as far away from these lenders as possible. They wonât make your situation any better. Theyâll only make it worse. While the letter grades you received in school were often final, your credit score is not. Scythians in the Ancient World
Scythians -- a Greek designation -- were an ancient group of people from Central Eurasia distinguished from others of the area by their customs and their contact with their neighbors. There appear to have been several groups of Scythians, who were known to the Persians as Sakas. We dont know where each group lived, but they lived in the area from the Danube River to Mongolia on the East-West dimension and southward to the Iranian plateau. Where the Scythians Lived Nomadic, Indo-Iranian (a term that also covers inhabitants of the Iranian plateau and the Indus Valley [e.g., Persians and Indians]) horsemen, archers, and pastoralists, depicted wearing pointed hats and trousers, the Scythians lived in the Steppes northeast of the Black Sea, from the 7th-3rd century B.C. Scythia also refers to a region from the Ukraine and Russia (where archaeologists have unearthed Scythian burial mounds) into Central Asia. Eurasian Map showing Steppe tribes, including SythiansRelated map showing location in Asia, as well The Scythians are closely associated with horses (and the Huns). [The 21st-century movie Attila showed a starving boy drinking the blood of his horse to stay alive. However much this might be Hollywood license, it conveys the essential, survival bond between the steppe nomads and their horses.] Ancient Names of the Scythians The greek epic poet Hesiod called the northern tribes hippemolgi mare milkers. The Greek historian Herodotus refers to the European Scythians as Scythians and the eastern ones as Sacae. Beyond the Scythians and other Steppe tribes was supposed to be Apollos sometimes home, among the Hyperboreans. The name Scythians and Sacae applied to themselves was Skudat archer.Later, the Scythians were sometimes called Getae. The Persians also called the Scythians Sakai. According to Richard N. Frye (The Heritage of Central Asia; 2007) of these, there wereSaka HaumavargaSaka Paradraya (beyond the sea or river)Saka Tigrakhauda (pointed hats)Saka para Sugdam (beyond Sogdiana)Scythians, who attacked the kingdom of Urartu in Armenia, were called Ashguzai or Ishguzai by the Assyrians. The Scythians may have been the Biblical Ashkenaz. Legendary Origins of the Scythians A rightly skeptical Herodotus says the Scythians claimed the first man to exist in the region -- at a time when it was desert and about a millennium before Darius of Persia -- was named Targitaos. Targitaos was the son of Zeus and the daughter of the river Borysthenes. He had three sons from whom the tribes of the Scythians sprang.Another legend Herodotus reports connects the Scythians with Hercules and Echidna. Tribes of the Scythians Herodotus IV.6 lists the 4 tribes of the Scythians: From Leipoxais sprang the Scythians of the race called Auchatae;from Arpoxais, the middle brother, those known as the Catiari and Traspians;from Colaxais, the youngest, the Royal Scythians, or Paralatae. All together they are named Scoloti, after one of their kings: the Greeks, however, call them Scythians. The Scythians are also divided into: Sacae,Massagetae (may mean strong Getae),Cimmerians, andGetae. The Appeal of the Scythians The Scythians are connected with a variety of customs that interest modern people, including the use of hallucinogenic drugs, fabulous gold treasures, and cannibalism [see Cannibalism in ancient myth]. They have been popular as the noble savage from the 4th century B.C. Ancient writers eulogized the Scythians as more virtuous, hardy, and chaste than their civilized contemporaries. Common to all three epics is a plot structure that involves a protagonist who longs for home but who must first endure a life-altering change before he returns. Like Odysseus, Bloom inevitably returns home but not before he encounters the demons that make him subservient and which force his tolerating Mollys behavior. Blooms internal journey makes his austere and subordinate disposition self-respecting and whole. A transgression with a prostitute in a brothel provides Bloom with the experience he needs to ready his return home to Molly. Leopold Bloom lives, in exile from Jerusalem, in Ireland with his wife Molly. Bloom an advertising salesman and Molly a singer, the couple had a son, Rudy, who died eleven years ago. Da Vinci Code Reflection Surban Essay Example
Da Vinci Code Reflection Surban Essay It is a well written novel for those who like mystery, codes, secrets and many more like Robert London which is so familiar with Indiana Jones but a smarter version of him and that is why even though it is a very controversial novel to my religion it still amazes me for it is thrilling at the same time it has hidden lessons for all humanity to realize and that is that faith is something you believe in and not what others believe. Although it is an amazing novel with exciting plots, I realize that this is a fictional novel where the facts are not all true but it makes me interested in something more than just the novel. The Dad Vinci infuses both actual historic evidence and imaginary made up evidence so well that it is official for the uneducated people to interpret between what exists in our reality and what is simply something in the reality in which these characters live in. But, The Dad Vinci Code has some limitations like there are serious historical and theological inaccuracies in novel that create false impressions about Jesus, the Christian faith, and the Church. For example, the idea that the divinity of Christ was virtually created by the Council of Nicola is a complete misunderstanding and that is why people think that this novel is mom kind of a threat to the church or even the religion itself for it conveys messages that would deteriorate the image of the Catholic Church. It is not that I find the idea scandalous in any way. We will write a custom essay sample on Da Vinci Code Reflection Surban specifically for you for only $16.38 $13.9/page Order now We will write a custom essay sample on Da Vinci Code Reflection Surban specifically for you FOR ONLY $16.38 $13.9/page Hire Writer We will write a custom essay sample on Da Vinci Code Reflection Surban specifically for you FOR ONLY $16.38 $13.9/page Hire Writer I just think it lacks any historical source and frankly, these fictional elements do not overly worry me because I think the film on the whole conveys an important message loud and clear-?that Jesus of Nazareth was an extraordinary teacher and prophet, but a human being, not a God-?and that his resurrection freed Christianity of a rang turn it took many centuries ago and allow us to discover him anew and hear his message unclouded by spiritual belief for the novel I think never wanted to offend the Catholic for the novel just wanted to portray something that the author himself would want to address to the people. Also, in some sense, it is also some kind of test for me because with all the things that the novel would show, it would really test your faith to God and the Church itself because even though that you know that it covers a fictional base, some loud really be persuaded about its contents like the fresco of Leonardo Dad Vinci. Who would have thought that there was a woman in the portrait and that there was no cup? M just saying that the novel has some kind of strong influence to people that the content is true in some ways even though it is real and some may even think about it for a moment and say to themselves 00 nag non?! or Really?! . I on the other hand, after watching The Dad Vinci Code, I still believe in one God even though there are sometimes that doubt my faith and religion but know to myself that I will come back to God or He alone guides me and always helps me in my life for He acts like an inspiration for me to live my life. In the end, I know that the novel is so good and very thrilling but would like to suggest that Catholics and other Christians should genuinely care about the ways in which Jesus and the Christian community are portrayed in modern media We should care enough to re-commit ourselves to Christ, to strive to make the Church a vital and credible witness to the living Christ, and to show by our lives what our faith means to us. Ultimately, we should care because we have a deep love for Christ.

How to Make a Waterfall Firework
How to Make a Waterfall Firework A waterfall firework produces a long-lasting shower of glittering sparks, like a fiery waterfall. Here are instructions for making a waterfall firework yourself. This is a bright firework, intended to produce sparks that fall 20-30 feet. The waterfall may be suspended in the air or over a drop, as from a bridge. Waterfall Firework Mixture Potassium perchlorateMixture of 50-100 mesh aluminum and titanium and 300-400 mesh aluminum10% dextrin in water Prepare the Firework Mix together equal parts of potassium perchlorate and the metals with enough dextrin solution that you can pack the mixture.Press the composition into paper tubes approximately 8-1/2 inches x 5/8 inches (internal diameter). You can make the tubes using rolled regular paper, secured on the ends and middle with masking tape. Leave 1/2 inch open at the end of the tube for your ignition mixture.Combine equal amounts of waterfall firework mixture with gunpowder to make an ignition mixture. Pack ignition mixture and a fuse into the last 1/2 inch of the paper tube.Let the firework dry for a day or longer.Suspend a series of the waterfall tubes 20-30 feet in the air, using wire. Link the tubes together using quickmatch. When its time, light the quickmatch and enjoy the show! Waterfall Firework Safety Be sure the wire used to attach the firework to the supporting structure can withstand the heat of the firework. The burning metal produced by the firework will ignite any grass or brush underneath, so be sure to light this firework over a clean, fireproof area. Expect the sparks to be very hot, so let them burn out on their own. Dont attempt to stamp them out. Terrorist Organisation Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1500 words
Terrorist Organisation - Essay Example They usually term their terrorist movement as a national liberation movement and spare no effort to attract the attention of the world leaders to their cause. A great deal of success has been obtained by the subscribers to this form of terrorism. It can be asserted that the greatest number of benefits have been attained by its adherents. Such terrorists are very careful in regulating the amount of violence and destruction caused by their attacks, whose purpose is to obtain benefits without antagonizing or losing the goodwill of its supporters in the international community. Most of the terrorist groups that indulge in this form of terrorism are voluble in claiming that they should be designated as freedom fighters and not terrorists3. The most dangerous advocates of terrorism are religious terrorists. This is due to the fact that they resort to murderous attacks on innocent people in order to spread fear. The objective of these terrorists is to promote their own brand of religion and they sincerely believe that what they do has divine sanction. Their attacks are aimed at all those who do not subscribe to their beliefs. Due to this fact every person who does not follow their religious commands is at great danger from these fanatics4. Some of the religious terrorist groups are the Al Qaeda of Osama bin Laden, the Hamas which consists of Palestinian Sunni Muslims, the Shiite Muslim group of the Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Rabbi Meir Kahane organizations, the Baruch Goldstein of Israel and the Japanese Aum Shinrikyo5. At times a country's government will offer covert help to terrorists, this constitutes state sponsored terrorism. This constitutes a very effective foreign policy tool that is "a cost-effective way of waging war covertly, through the use of surrogate warriors or 'guns for hire'."6 Such terrorists are very effective, in comparison to other terrorists. This is due to the fact that such terrorists have vastly superior weapons, supplies, logistic support and access to up to date intelligence reports. The aim of the so called left-wing terrorists is to replace capitalism with communism. In comparison to the religious and state sponsored terrorists, their attacks on the general civilian population are very limited. This is due to the fact that these terrorists sincerely believe that the common man is the victim of the capitalists. Not surprisingly, these terrorists restrict their activities to kidnappings and destruction of monuments. Some of these left - wing groups are the German Baader - Meinhof, the Japanese Red Army, the USA's Weathermen of the 1970's, the 17 November group of Greece and the Italian Red Brigade7. A vast change has taken place in the field of terrorism. The previous instances of terrorism were mainly of the state sponsored type. Of late, as has been succinctly pointed out by Simon and Benjamin, religious terrorism has captured center stage. This variety of terrorism is independent of any country and is thereby not restricted by any country as to the amount and nature of violence that it can wreak on the general populace. In order to cause the maximum possible harm, these terrorists continually seek to procure weapons of mass destruction. The damage

Business Management Assignment Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1750 words
Business Management - Assignment Example Strategic partnerships with other business organizations have been a key factor which has helped the company in its global expansion and dominance. In general four blocks of competitive advantage has been identified that provides an organization to outcompete its rivals. These are efficiency, customer responsiveness, quality and innovation. These factors help a firm to achieve either lower cost or higher product differentiation which in turn provides competitive advantage. In case of Federal Express for the company to maintain its profitability above average it is integral that it continues to develop its logistics more robustly (Gendron, 2012). The development of logistics services began from the period of 80ââ¬â¢s and all the major competitors began to provide logistics services to assist the business customers in activities like assembly operation, warehousing and distribution. This can help the organization to develop its customer responsiveness and contribute in the long term-profitability. Better logistics management can help the customers to meet their customized requirements into a standardized physical network. Two direct advantages can be derived from this firstly, the reduction of cost and secondly higher cost capacity utilization. The customers can achieve higher level of satisfaction from the better security arising from this. Therefore, it seems plausible that higher investment in the BLS Division of the company which takes care of the logistics division is likely to bring more customers for the company which in turn will help in achieving higher revenues. This strategy is better than the price cutting strategy as such behavior often induces similar responses from the competitors which may fail to provide benefits in the long-run. Also UPS one of the biggest rivals of Federal Express had focused heavily on improving its logistics services in order to retain its competitive advantage throughout 2000ââ¬â¢s. This is perhaps one of the

How the Police Access Data to Obtain Criminal Information Essay Example for Free
How the Police Access Data to Obtain Criminal Information Essay Advancement in technology has completely changed the way in which law enforcement agents obtain information, organize and make use of that information (Foster, 2005). Foster (2005) states that technology has enhanced the use of information both in strategic and tactical sense. Scientific criminal investigation is one of the earliest methods of obtaining information concerning crime and criminals. Fingerprint classification is a very good example of scientific criminal investigation. Information technology has greatly enhanced the use of fingerprints in criminal investigation (Foster, 2005). Interviewing is the other method used by law enforcement agents to obtain information. Uncle Bob was asked a few questions by the law enforcement officer in order to collect information concerning his name, address and driving license number. All information concerning criminal activities of an individual, collected by law enforcement and which law enforcement officers have access to, is taken as privileged information (Foster, 2005). This implies that this information is for official use only. Law enforcement agencies have general access to a wide range of information of the common man that is confidential and protected by law. The information retained by law enforcement agencies runs the spectrum from crime reports to personnel records (Pattavina, 2005). Police officers gather a great deal of information, which they preserve for a long time. Majority of the law enforcement agencies in the United States have computerized files and criminal records. This implies that most of the law enforcement officers in the country have access to computerized criminal histories (Pattavina, 2005). Criminal justice information systems contain all information collected in and used in the criminal justice system. This information include: state driversââ¬â¢ license records, privately gathered information and personal data in addition to court transcripts of testimony. Police records on the other hand deal with information gathered, preserved as well as organized by the police (Foster, 2005). A fully integrated law enforcement record management system has the capacity to access to all other records preserved by different criminal justice organizations. The Florida police department was able to obtain information concerning the weight, height, and criminal history of uncle Bob because its record management system is fully integrated. A fully integrated record management system is made up of various smaller systems whose main role is to exchange information with a master server (Foster, 2005). Law enforcement management system, as stated by Pattavina (2005), is a comprehensive system that allows for the capture in addition to transmission of information from a wide range of sources and also allows for different types of information queries in addition to bridging law enforcement agencies to outside sources of information (Foster, 2005). Law enforcement agencies make use of the internet to exchange information on matters of national security (Pattavina, 2005). Miami Police Department obtained criminal and personal information of uncle Bob through the internet. Communication between the police officer in the field and his agency was enhanced by the fact that law enforcement officers can access a wide range of reference manuals as well as policy in searchable online databases (Foster, 2005). The internet is one of the major technology developments that supplements law enforcement communication schemes. Uncle Bob is likely to be charged with over speeding. It can therefore be concluded that advancement in technology has completely changed the way in which law enforcement agents obtain information, organize and make use of information. Interviewing is one of the major approaches employed by law enforcement agents to gather information. Communication between law enforcement officers in the field with their agencies as well as between different criminal justice organizations is enhanced by integration of Internet in communication system.

The Importance of Choices in The Most Dangerous Game Essay example --
The Importance of Choices in The Most Dangerous Game Can a man be driven from humble humanity to gross inhumanity by circumstance or situation? What effect do one's choices and training have on his morals? At some point in our lives we will all be forced to answer questions similar to these, and two characters in Connell's story "The Most Dangerous Game" are not exempt from these life decisions. Sanger Rainsford and General Zaroff are both wealthy, both are hunters, and eventually both men are put into situations where critical choices must be made. The choices the men make are derived from different situations, but both have similar results. Initially the setting of the story is on a yacht in the Carribbean. Rainsford is involved in small talk with his friend, Whitney, and the conversation is about their favorite hobby, hunting big game. The fact that these men could afford a hunting trip to the Amazon speaks of their wealth, and these men have apparently taken several trips together. General Zaroff is not unlike Rainsford in this respect. From his childhood, Z...

Although both schools place a great importance upon producing an environment in which every child matters and feels secure.
